Vaccination against covid-19 is in full swing, not only in the Czech Republic.

ASRM (American Society for Reproductive Medicine) and ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology) have published updated recommendations for patients planning their IVF treatment. ASRM and ESHRE recommends not to delay treatment due to vaccination.

According to their experts, the covid-19 vaccine is not a live virus, so there is no reason to postpone attempts at pregnancy or IVF due to vaccination. However, the decision should be based on each patient's need and consulted with their doctor.
