At the end of March, Prague became the venue for a meeting of reproductive medicine experts at a congress co-organized by Unica in collaboration with the International Fertility Alliance.
Throughout the day, current trends in infertility treatment were presented, and experiences from everyday clinical practice were shared. The program offered space for an open professional discussion on topics that significantly impact fertility care and reproductive health today.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of connecting professionals across various fields and sharing experiences that drive the quality of patient care forward.
Key Topics of Current Practice
The congress program provided a comprehensive and interdisciplinary view of fertility issues. Topics focused on the prevention and early diagnosis of infertility, which is considered a key factor in the success of treatment. A significant portion of the program was dedicated to gynecological and endocrine diseases that can profoundly affect the reproductive health of both women and men.

The discussion further developed towards a holistic view of couple fertility, where there is an increasing need to consider both partners and emphasize both female and male factors. Topics related to the care of patients after successful conception were also discussed, emphasizing the continuity of care even after achieving the desired pregnancy.
Overall, the focus was not only on medical aspects but also on the broader context of treatment – from psychological support to an individualized approach to each patient.

Experts Sharing Their Practice
An integral part of the program was the presentations by leading experts who shared their clinical practice experiences and provided insights into current approaches to infertility treatment.

Representing Unica Clinic were MUDr. Ondřej Bačík and MUDr. Tomáš Koukal, who focused on modern methods and individualized approaches in reproductive medicine.

The program was further enriched by colleagues from Eurofertil MUDr. Michaela Tomanová and MUDr. Richard Lachčina, from Reproclinic Dr. Alicia Saborit, as well as doc. MUDr. Jan Jiskra, Ph.D., MUDr. Vladimír Baláž, MUDr. Michal Jelšík, and Ing. Ivan Maštalíř.

Each speaker brought a unique perspective and experience, leading to an inspiring and professionally enriching discussion. The diversity of approaches and the openness to sharing were among the main benefits of the meeting.

Collaboration and Sharing as the Foundation of Progress
The event was sponsored by MUDr. Radovan Turyna, Ph.D., whose expert leadership and valuable lecture were greatly appreciated.

Special thanks go to the partners Gedeon Richter and IBSA, who contributed to the congress's realization and its high professional level.

Such meetings are of fundamental importance in the field of reproductive medicine. They not only allow for experience sharing but also open up space for discussions on new approaches and innovations that may influence the quality of patient care in the future.

Thank You for an Inspiring Day
A big thank you to all the speakers and participants for their active involvement and the sharing of expert knowledge.
